Details: Trayport

Location: London, England

Design & Fit Out: Oktra

The team at workplace design leaders Oktra utilised their deep understanding of Trayport’s business to design a more agile and collaborative work environment that seamlessly supports a hybrid working model. The redesigned office layout features a diverse range of work settings, with a quarter of the floorplate dedicated to collaboration zones. At the heart of the office is a vibrant breakout space that naturally draws employees in, fostering social interaction and providing room for up to 200 staff for town hall meetings. Additionally, an expanded teapoint is complemented by a central bar, offering a space for staff to gather and socialise away from the main work areas.

Following a rise in remote working, virtual collaboration has become the new norm. Initially planned to equip six meeting rooms with AV conferencing solutions, the increasing demand for flexible work practices led to a shift, adding 33 phone booths and small ‘Zoom rooms’. With meeting rooms, meeting suites, touchdown workspaces and a dedicated collaboration hub, Trayport’s employees can personalise their workspaces to meet their daily needs.

As soon as employees enter the office, they are immersed in the company's brand, with bold graphics, motivational mission statements plus turquoise and blue fabrics on furniture and acoustic panels. Trayport’s signature dark blue is prominently displayed throughout the space, from the exposed ceiling, which not only echoes the brand but also visually expands the office. The teapoint stands out with vibrant pink fluted tiles from Trayport’s secondary colour palette, adding a touch of colour and setting this informal area apart.
