Details: Optiver

Location: City of London, London, England

Design & Fit Out: Oktra

Optiver aimed to create a future-focused office environment for their staff, working with Oktra to develop a flexible, people-centric workspace that serves as the international design benchmark for their global offices. The office fit-out began with a complete strip-down to fully tailor the space to Optiver’s needs. The ceiling was removed to maximise volume in work and breakout areas and a new LED lighting system was installed beneath a bold blue mesh ceiling, adding depth and ensuring a bright, spacious feel.

The new workspace features a variety of meeting and collaborative areas, along with a large breakout zone on the ground floor that includes a barista station and games area for staff. This flows into a 100-person trading floor on the second level. Natural wood and greenery are paired with a vibrant palette of bold orange and royal blue, creating a warm, welcoming environment designed with people in mind.

Throughout the project, sustainable practices were prioritised. Innovative solutions minimised environmental impact, with sustainable materials sourced and waste reduced during construction. This forward-thinking design not only exceeds regulatory standards but also earned a prestigious SKA Gold rating. Optiver’s new London workspace sets the global standard for their offices worldwide.
