Details: Crowe UK LLP

Location: London EC4M, England

Design & Fit Out: Oktra

Crowe UK sought a London workspace that would embody their brand values while fostering collaboration among their staff. The design integrates elements inspired by the building's unique location above a trainline, with features like booths and half-arches echoing the arches of the railway and patterned flooring reminiscent of London Underground fabrics.

At the heart of the central atrium, a four-meter-tall petrified tree stands as a striking centerpiece in a collaborative breakout area. The space maximises natural daylight, with workstations positioned along the building's perimeter. Innovative design elements, such as pivoting bronze mirror fins, not only reflect light to brighten the space but also provide a sense of privacy.

A variety of work settings cater to diverse needs, from quiet phone booths and secluded areas, to open workspaces and large meeting rooms. This dynamic design strikes a balance between professionalism and playfulness, creating a fresh environment that supports Crowe’s business objectives.

The project earned recognition as a finalist in the FX Awards’ Workspace Environment category and the SBID Awards’ Office Design category.
