YouTube’s Creative Studio in London sought a modern, functional office space that would inspire creativity within their communication and design team. The project prioritised agile working by incorporating flexible solutions into the compact floorspace.

By eliminating the need for fixed partitions, cork-panelled, mobile walls allow the team to reconfigure the space as needed. They also serve as pinboards, fostering a visual, hands-on approach to collaborative sessions. At the center of the workspace lies a communal desk, encouraging both independent and group work. This is complemented by additional meeting areas and social spaces. The design features sleek black worktops, walls and columns, paired with a poured concrete floor and exposed lighting for an industrial aesthetic. Natural wood accents, the cork partitions and hanging planters bring elements of biophilic design into the space, balancing the raw, contemporary feel with warmth and texture.

The result is a dynamic, adaptable environment that acts as a blank canvas, empowering staff to generate fresh ideas and innovative concepts, reflecting the creative ethos of their work.
