Lifestyle Workplace Design Photography with People
There are two sides to the interior photography of workplace design projects. One side focuses on capturing the visual architectural and interior design features. This relates to the presence of meeting rooms, collaborative zones, solo work areas and breakout spaces, together with highlighting the bespoke choice of materials, furniture, branding and the overall flow of the space itself. The other side highlights how people utilise and interact with these elements as part of their working life.
Both aspects of the photography are equally important and there is a distinct need for both. As a photographer, the most successful images come from a blend of both. Showcasing the human element and creating lifestyle photography is the goal for most workplace projects I photograph.
Ultimately, office design projects are built for the people who work there. Having experienced the industry for over a decade, I’ve seen first-hand the level of analysis and detail that goes in to creating a workspace that encourages collaboration, productivity and employee wellbeing. Creating images that showcase the spaces being used as intended is in high demand from the leading design and build companies. Below is a selection of my favourite lifestyle images from recent projects.
