Being called in as the photographer to shoot Adidas’ new London HQ is an amazing feeling. It’s those milestones which keep me motivated, together with offering a level of reassurance that I must be doing something right and not simply blagging my way through my career!
The impressive new space features open plan areas, meeting rooms with diverse personalities, collaboration spaces and a focal teapoint. Adidas’ new workplace also features an Entertainment and Influencer (EIM) room, a trend room and a show room; allowing Adidas to host a range of events all under the same roof. As a brand, Adidas has always been focused on sustainability. The chairs are made from 100% recycled, ocean plastic waste and the teapoint is clad in 5,000 recycled, melted-down yoghurt pots.
Being located in London’s iconic Herbal House (the site of the Photobox Group offices – a personal favourite project of mine) means it hosts an industrial look to the architecture which blends impressively with the vibrant and colourful palette used across the space.
