One of the things I love about photographing high-end homes across the Surrey and Sussex countryside is discovering homes you would never know existed. Hidden gems, I like to call them. Once such recent example was Idle Hill. An impressive family home perched within a secluded setting of woodland, with far-reaching views over the South Downs. The gardens and property itself are completely hidden from view. Unless you knew the address, you would never know it existed. You can’t see another property, you can’t hear a sound. Only the upper floor of the three-storey home gives you an outlook beyond the oasis of seclusion, offering you 20 mile views across the countryside. A truly wonderful setting for that seclusion from the outside world.
